Subject: Smoke and Smog Date: September 3, 2002

The health unit notes that it has been documented with the current smoke and haze that carbon monoxide levels are twice the accepted maximum in some areas of the city. Elderly, small children and those suffering from chronic and respiratory illnesses should stay indoors as much as possible during these hazy days. Please remind your family, guests and friends. Please call the health unit if you have any questions or concerns on ext. 5087.
